We know your time is valuable and you will only spend a couple of minutes on this site, so let’s get to the point quickly. There are a few questions we ask you to consider about yourself.
*Do you believe there is a God that created you?
*Have you ever talked with Him?
*Have you ever attended a church but now you do not fit in?
*Do you have a deep love for God, but cannot relate to the church?
If you answered “yes” to any of the questions, please read on, because there is some wonderful news for you.
The God that created you is the God of the Bible. While He was living in a human body on earth, He said several interesting things about you. While having a conversation with the “religious” leaders of His day, He said, “I have other sheep that are not of this fold… they will listen to My voice and pay attention to My call, and they will become one flock with one Shepherd.” John 10:16.
What that means is that Jesus has not forgotten about you nor have you strayed too far from His reach. He came to earth to gather His scattered sheep and rescue them. He calls you “His sheep.” He has come for you, knowing that you will listen to His voice. He knows when you hear His voice, you will come to Him. You might not fit in with the traditional church, so He refers to you as “other sheep.” You are His because you belong to Him. There are literally thousands of “other sheep” in the world today that are scattered, hurt, lonely, depressed, scared, lost hope, and wandering around feeling unconnected to Him. The good news for you today is that He is near and calling you with His voice that speaks to your inner being. If you are listening to this voice, it is the voice of your Creator calling out for you. Please do not ignore it because He is calling you personally, by name. Jesus knows who you are and is calling for you to come to Him. It is not about church, it is about Him!
Recently, a small group of “other sheep” have united together to form bonds of friendships and relationships. We established ourselves as “The Other Sheep,” a small church without walls, connected by Zoom.
Our intent is to share in fellowship and Life from the giver of LIFE. We believe each of His sheep should have a place to worship, learn, be cared for, grow and serve! We extend a personal invitation to you, hoping you will join us. We keep it simple. The format of what we do is very refreshing! It includes the sounding of the shofar (trumpet), hearing the Word of God, believing for miracles through prayer, receiving Communion, praying for the sick, etc. We believe you might find this approach to “church” very different yet fulfilling.
